The benefits of natural sheepskin.......

-Non-shedding

-Resists snags, tears, wrinkles, soiling and pilling.

-Static-free. Lambskin will not give off an electrical charge. Synthetic seat covers are a 100% insulator of electrical energy. All natural lambskin is a partial insulator providing you undisturbed release of static electricity.

-Dirt and bacteria resistant. For centuries it has been known that natural lambskin, because of its lanolin, has self-cleaning power when left to hang in fresh air.

-Stays warm even when wet.

-It is a natural moisturizer due to the high content of lanolin in the wool. Lambskin is gentle on your skin because it contains lanolin, a basic substance similar to that found in human skin. It can prevent dryness.

-Inflammable, which makes it especially safe for the elderly or babies.

-Non allergenic, it is perfect for asthma sufferers and others with various allergies.

-Helps heal sensitive or inflamed skin or rashes, because skin can breathe naturally.

Did you know.....

The properties of natural wool fibers found in quality sheepskin allow it to absorb up to 34% of its dry weight in moisture without feeling damp. This is very helpful for immobile patients. It lessens the problem of perspiration and moisture build up at the pressure points. It is this moisture problem that causes man-made fibers to be less than desirable in relieving a moisture build-up from perspiration in the body, feet, and hands of confined patients.
